初めてのスパイクピン「テトラピン」
全天候型トラック（通称タータントラック）も最近ではほとんどがノンチップ型のトラックになっています。
それに合わせてスパイクシューズもカーボンファイバー入りの厚底タイプに進化し、好記録が続出していることは皆さんもよくご存じのことだと思います。
ところが、スパイクピンはここ数十年ほとんど形も変わらず、進化していません。
「トラックが変わったのに、スパイクピンが変わらなくていいのでしょうか？」
ニードルピンの実証実験をして（参照：ニードルピンはトラックを傷めない） ニードルピンの走りやすさを実証しましたが、その頃から「もっといい、ノンチップ型専用のピンを作りたい！」という思いが生じてきました。
そこで自身が走っていた頃の感覚から色々と試作したスパイクピンで実証実験をして、このほど「ノンチップ型トラック専用スパイクピン テトラピン」ができあがりました。
名前の通り、４つに分かれた先端が特徴の今までにないスパイクピンです。
できるだけ短く、そして面でトラックをとらえるという新しい発想のスパイクピンをぜひお試しください。

As you all know, spikes have evolved to accommodate this trend, with thick soles incorporating carbon fiber, resulting in a steady stream of impressive results.
However, spikes have remained largely unchanged for the past few decades.
Should spikes stay the same even as tracks change?
After conducting a demonstration experiment with needle pins (see: Needle pins do not damage tracks), I demonstrated their ease of running. Since then, I've been yearning to create an even better spike specifically for non-tip tracks.
Based on my own experiences as a runner, I conducted various prototype experiments and recently completed the Tetra Pin, a spike specifically for non-tip tracks.
As the name suggests, these unique spikes feature four separate tips.
Please try out our new spike pins, which are as short as possible and grip the track with a full surface.

However, these pins, despite their short 5mm length, provide a stable grip on the track.
Our store has been selling spike pins for many years. Many of our customers are top-class athletes, many of whom are familiar names.
From this experience, top athletes tend to choose shorter spike pins.
I believe that the shorter the pin, the better, as long as it provides a clean grip on the track.
We developed these pins with the goal of "short and gripping the track."

The overseas-made cleats we carry vary greatly in quality, with slight variations in length and tightness. However, these cleats are made of high-quality stainless steel, with virtually no individual variations.
They can be attached to replaceable cleats from any manufacturer, both domestic and international.
The four-sided symmetrical cleats can be attached and removed using a standard handle with a rectangular hole.
